HP reportedly on the verge of splitting into two companies   Hewlett-Packard is reportedly splitting into two companies.The computing juggernaut is said to be on the verge of partitioning itself into two businesses, one focused on personal computers and printers and the other on enterprise hardware and services. The Wall Street Journal first reported the possible break-up. Announcement of the new structure could come as soon as Monday. Under the new set-up, Meg Whitman would reportedly chair the PC and printer business while serving as CEO of the enterprise company. Read more >
